Hope N Literacy – A Haitian Mission – is a non-profit foundation created to help build a village in Haiti called CPA so that the men, women and children have a  place to worship and  be educated in a safe and well  equipped house of god.   Haiti is one of the poor countries in the world.  The average income is $1,000 per year.  Please support Hope and Literacy by making a donation.  Hope & literacy with support of Lake Mary Presbyterian has many opportunities to help support CPA. 

Creating a place of worship and education for the people of CPA is the mission of the Hope and Literacy Foundation. 

Jesus said, “What is impossible with men is possible with God.”
We cannot change the entire county, but with God’s help we might make a difference in one small village and allow his work to spread beyond its borders as young – educated – children hear and follow….

How blessed we are to be able to worship in beautiful churches across our amazing nation with plenty of options in which church we go to, how we get there, how we serve and praise our god, and how we pray to god.  The people of CPA are not as fortunate as we are but have the same faith and will to do so.

Our children our blessed with a public school system that provides them with a good education with a  well rounded curriculum, physical activities, a sense of community, well trained teachers, and transportation.  They are given special support if it is needed to help them become the best they can be.   This is all supported by our tax dollars from our wealthy nation.

The parents and children of CPA have the same eagerness and will to get a good education and learn to read, write, add and subtract.  They have the same hopes and dreams for a life to serve god in peace and happiness.
